In order to celebrate the opening of the new combined school and the start of the new term, all class 1-12 students, staff , parents and visitors processed to the school entrance on Clovenside Road where the new Drumduan School sign was erected. The procession then followed up to the hilltop location of the Upper School. Auriol and Jude, founders of the original Moray Steiner School thirty years ago and Ian and Tilda who founded Drumduan Upper School three years ago joined in the celebration. A new bench that incorporates the original beautifully carved Moray Steiner School sign was opened, facing the stunning view North over Findhorn Bay. A strong feeling of new purpose and strength has arisen with the start of the new term and the consolidation of the whole new school.
