TESTIMONIALS
Read the heart felt testimonials of our parents. If you'd like to speak with a parent about their experience at Drumduan directly, send a request to reception@drumduan.org and we will connect you. Many of our families found Drumduan and Steiner Education after being let down by the state school system and needing something different for their child.
Some have searched specifically for a Steiner Education and found Drumduan School, set in a spacious woodland campus, with magnificent views overlooking Findhorn Bay and the Moray Firth in the north east coast of Scotland.

TEACHING IN DRUMDUAN'S UPPER SCHOOL.

Drumduan's Upper School is still small, but it is expanding rapidly. We do not offer exams. This enables us to cover the wide and inspiring Steiner/Waldorf curriculum in the upper school right up to class 12. The availability of mountains, rivers and the sea so close to our doorstep allows us to put emphasis on outdoor learning, hands on experiential work and outdoor pursuits.
We have just embarked on the IE assessment program in our upper school that can enable students direct access to further education and university. We are delighted that the taught components of the modules give equal emphasis to main lesson work as well as the subject lessons.

All applicants will need to register with the GTCS (General Teaching Council of Scotland). Registration can be either via 1- a conditional Steiner Named School Only registration (requiring a relevant University degree, Steiner teacher training qualification and English and maths at minimum exam level of national 5 (Scotland) GCSE (England) or recognised level from a different exam system) or 2- full GTCS registration (details via https://www.gtcs.org.uk/registration/).
If you are interested in this vacancy, or know someone who would be interested, please get in touch with the school via reception@drumduan.org and/or 01309 676300
